This is absolutely flavorful with colours! You captured beautiful hues of the leaves. This definitely makes me miss the northeast so much. Gorgeous!
Reblogging on the reblog page
It’s been such a treat to be on the east coast this season (we tend to visit in the spring), and I’d almost forgot how glorious fall can be here. Thank you Judy, for your kind words and reblog.
Love all the colors!
Thanks, Ashley!
So many colors!
Thank you, Pat!
What a beautiful “edible” salad ! Only someone who would see this photo op
would find money on the ground.
Hmmm… Thanks!
Hi Rona,
I am just loving that mix of colors. Fab!
Happy Monday to you.
Much appreciated, thanks. And happy Monday to you too, Barbara.
Oh my!! lovely colors!!
Thank you, Hema!
So beautiful!!!
Thanks so much, Kimberly!
Remarkable image!
May I ask which camera+lense did you use?
Thank you very much, Tahir. I’m currently using an Olympus Pen E-P1 (the first in their Micro Four Thirds series) and for this shot I used the Panasonic Leica DG 25mm f/1.4 lens.
I love the combination of colors you have captured.
Thank you, Kenne.
Nice catch! The greens really set off the autumn colors beautifully!
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thanks so much, Wendy.
Love the mix beautiful colors!
Thanks very much, Amy.
Ahhh… you do make me long for a visit back to where I grew up… lovely composition rather than the usual color still on the trees.
Much appreciated; thank you.
What a colorful composition – like a plate of Halloween candies
Thanks, John
Autumn always delights the eyes. I like the way you showed this with a close up. Very nice.
Thanks very much, Mark.
I love to shuffle through the fallen leaves, the crackle and the rustle …
Unfortunately I didn’t even get a chance to take more than one shot, let alone shuffle through them; I was supposed to be watching my young niece and nephew while they rode their bikes. We had just crossed a busy street and this pile of leaves at the curb caught my eye. I took the shot and then ran to catch up with them. When we returned to the same spot 20 minutes later, the light had changed enough to turn these leaves many shades of brown with very little color.
It can be such a fleeting thing but it’s better you keep your eye on those kids
Great capture Rona. Lovely colours, like a box of sweet wrappers.
Thanks, Mark.
I love this collection of color and texture! I live a bit east of Worcester. The color this fall has been amazing!
Thanks, Susan; much appreciated. I’d bet it’s even prettier there this week than last.
I like the natures palette of colors in the leaves. The blues, red ,orange, and green make a beautifuf photo of colors.
Thanks, Jim.
The leaves in your edible photograph are so exotic they could be transformed into a silk scarf. The colours are also reflected in the WordPress Hovercard icons underneath!
Much appreciate your comment and thanks for stopping by.
Almost like a bag of marbles with all of their bright colors…very nice, Rona.
Thanks, Scott — heading back to our neck of the woods in a week and anxious to see how the colors have changed.
You’re welcome…they’re changing very quickly…lots of brown and rich gold out there now….
Just beautiful!
Thanks, Donna!
There is so many colours in those leaves, it’s beautiful !
Thank you, Jocelyne!
The visual equivalent to a box of candies.
I had the same thought.
